Laura Nashman's talent as a
flutist was developed through intense study with such reknowned teachers
as William Bennett, Louis Moyse, Jeanne Baxstresser, Robert Aitken, Douglas
Stewart and the late Geoffrey Gilbert. Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario,
Canada, Laura earned a Bachelor of Music degree in flute performance from
the University of Toronto. In addition to Laura's busy career as a musician,
she runs her own companies, The Montage Music Agency and the Montage Music
Label, along with acting as musical director for both live and recording
groups and performing as guest soloist with various orchestras and chamber
ensembles.
